We are committed to all social aspects of our enterprise, ranging from worker rights to corporate social responsibility. This is reflected at every level of our operations- from the high caliber of human capital we have in our engineers and technicians, to the diligence and hard work of our factory workers, and the attention to detail and entrepreneurial spirit of our executives.
Our total workforce is more than 800. Further, we supply both local and global corporations, who in turn supply their own customers- so our reach is much further than apparent at an initial glance.
BPPL’s quality management system is multilayered, based on internationally recognized practices and processes, tailored to meet consumer specifications.
We have upgraded from OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety. This latest standard provides a more detailed structure for an organization to manage its workplace health and safety risks.
We are also fully compliant with all applicable labour laws and regulations and didn’t face fines or penalties for non-compliance. We have also made an effort to strengthen our cadre with an enhanced human capital base, recruiting more skilled personnel and investing more time training our employees in new methodologies and technologies implemented.
We are invested in fair management of workplace grievances to maintain a culture of trust, so have established a committee of employee and management representation to address them.
We also host several employee social events that provide the opportunity for the staff to maintain a healthy work-life balance, whilst strengthening internal connections.
